Innsbruck-Igls (pps) The International Luge Federation, FIL, will again kick off the new season with the by now traditional press conference on November 26, 2010 (at 11:30 hrs) at the Clubhouse of „Olmypic Golf Igls“ in direct vicinity to the Olympic luge track in Innsbruck-Igls. FIL President Josef Fendt of Berchtesgaden and Olympic champions Felix Loch, Tatjana Huefner (both of Germany) and Andreas Linger-Wolfgang Linger (Austria) will be present. Prior to the start of the 34th season in the Viessmann Luge World Cup are, among others, the upgrading of the Team Relay Event to become the fourth World Cup discipline within the World Cup series, the FIL efforts to have the Team Relay Event included within the programme of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, as well as the 42nd FIL Luge World Championships in Cesana, Italy.
