Quotes:
Sylke Otto (Germany), Olympic Champion and World Champion:
„The Challenge Cup is a lot of fun for me. I managed three good runs. Winterberg is known for the weather, you have to focus on these conditions and to chose the right material, than it will work.“
David Möller (Germany), Vice European Champion:
„That an experienced athlete like Armin Zöggeler has a chash, is surprising, but these things happen. Before the finals I had worked at my sled, hoping for less snow and a faster track. It is always good to be in front of Georg Hackl in Winterberg but at the World Cup on Saturday he will show us what he can.”
Tobias Schiegl (Austria), World Champions 1996 and 1997, Vice World Champions 2003:
„We wanted to win here and are satisfied of course. The weather has not influenced us because the snow started late. At the World Cup on Sunday we want to be one of the best three teams.”
