Large and small crystal globe in the FIL World Cup

Berchtesgaden (FIL) The large crystal globe is awarded by the International Luge Federation, FIL, for the victory in the EBERSPÄCHER Overall World Cup ranking of all twelve races. It is awarded in the disciplines Women's Single, Men's Single and Doubles to those who achieve the most World Cup points from the classic EBERSPÄCHER World Cup (9 races) and the BMW Sprint World Cup (3 races). 

New in the next season 2020/21 is the small crystal trophy for the overall winners of the classic EBERSPÄCHER Luge World Cup (9 competitions) and the BMW Sprint World Cup (3 competitions). 
The large and small FIL overall World Cup crystal balls are made by JOSKA. The difference in size is nine centimeters in height. The large crystal ball for the overall victory in the EBERSPÄCHER World Cup is 45 centimeters high, while the new small discipline globes are 36 centimeters high.
In the 2021/22 World Cup winter, the women's doubles discipline will be added for the first time in the General Class. Then there will no longer be only the doubles World Cup, which is open to both men and women. There will also be the disciplines women's double and men's double in the EBERSPÄCHER World Cup.
