Calgary (pps) The eventual 2006-2007 World champions all celebrated victories at the 2006 Viessmann Luge World Cup in Calgary. Germany’s Tatjana Huefner won the women’s single, the second World Cup victory of her career, team-mate David Moeller achieved a hat-trick in Calgary (2003/04, 2004/05, 2006/07) simultaneously celebrating the fourth individual World Cup victory of his career. In the doubles’ event Patric Leitner-Alexander Resch of Germany won their 24th World Cup and thus laid the foundation for their eventual victory in the overall rankings.

Calgary, host of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games as well as of the FIL World Chamiponships in 1990, 1993 and 2001, will organise its 14th Viessmann Luge World Cup event.
