Kuala Lumpur (RWH) Lausanne has been selected to host the third Winter Youth Olympic Games by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at its 128th session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Swiss home of the IOC headquarters beat its only competitor, the Romanian city of Brasov. The very first Youth Olympic Games were held in Innsbruck, Austria, in 2012. The second edition will be showcased in Lillehammer, Norway, in 2016.
