Königssee (ppps) Local heroes Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch celebrated a special success on their home track. The Olympic Champions from Salt Lake City 2002 won their 30th Race at Viessmann Luge World Cup ans are the record winning team. They won in a total time of one minute 33,890 seconds followed by their team-mates Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt, who realized their best result ever. Third place went to Italy’s Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber.
Leitner/Resch lead the overall standings with 455 points followed by Oberstolz7Gruber (390) and Andre Florschütz/Torsten Wustlich (320).
