Quotes:

Patric Leitner (GER), Olympic Champion 2002:
„We started very slow in the season, but we improved at the end. We have done a lot of work with our sled and our athletic. With the track track record in the first run we shocked the other competitors.“

Andre Florschütz (GER), World Champion 2001:
„This is the highlight of a perfect season for us. This silver medal is more important for me than the gold medal three years ago. We have had a very bad year in 2002, but now we are back.”

Brian Martin (USA) Olympic Silver Medalist 2002:
“It is a little bit disappointing always being third in World Championships.“
