Quotes
Wolfgang Linger (AUT / 2006 and 2010 Olympic champion, 2003 and 2011 World champion)
“That was a tough race on a track we’re not familiar with. The track is totally different to those we know. But admittedly we got along well right from the beginning. However, we caught the flue this week, first Andi and then me. But we’re absolutely happy about our tenth victory.”
Tobias Wendl (GER / 2008 World bronze medallist, 2010 European runner-up)
“After we crashed at the World Championships our aim was to claim the overall World Cup victory. That worked out and of course this is the absolute highlight for us this season. I’m still struggling with elbow problems.
Andris Sics (LAT / 2010 Olympic silver medallist, 2011 World bronze medallist)
“Compared to the training we’ve been able to improve. And we showed constant performances in the two runs.“
