Lillehammer (RWH) Florian Löffler and Manuel Stiebing of Germany have won the doubles event in the International Luge Federation’s 30th Junior World Championships in Lillehammer, Norway. The Latvian team comprising Ulla Zirne, Kristens Aparjods and Kristens Putins–Karlis Kriss Matuzels took gold in the team relay. Silver and bronze in the doubles went to the Russian duos Evgeny Evdokimov–Alexey Groshev and Stanislav Maltchev–Oleg Faskhutdinov. Latvia was followed in the team relay by the Russian team of Viktoria Demchenko, Roman Repilov and Evdokimov–Groshev in second and Austria’s Madelaine Egle, Jonas Müller and David Trojer–Philip Knoll in third.
