PyeongChang (RWH) Gennadi Rodionov from Russia received the Medal of Honor in gold of the International Luge Federation (FIL). In recognition of his service for the sport of Luge the former member of the Executive Board was awarded with the medal at the 63nd FIL Congress in PyeongChang (Korea). Jindrich Zeman, Frantisek Halir (CZE) and Andrey Knir (RUS) received the Medal of Honor in silver. The Medal of Honor in Bronze went to Vera Bardina,Olga Kruechkova, Alexandr Ostruumov, Michael Potapow, Petros Gasparyan (all of Russia). None of those were present.
