Berchtesgaden (pps) On the occasion of the Viessmann Luge World Cup in Koenigssee, the Medical Commission of the International Luge Federation (FIL) held a meeting under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Joerg Ellermeyer. At the FIL Office in Berchtesgaden different topics were discussed, such as for instance, statistics for accidents and injury rates, the medical care at FIL events and the upcoming 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. Dr. Christian Kraehe, Chairman of the FIL Committee for Legal Affairs, attended the meeting and served in an advisory capacity.
