Turin (pps) In the presence of Italy´s minister for communication, Maurizio Gasparri, a second series of stamps with direct reference to the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin was presented to the public on March 24. It is dedicated to the cities Pinerolo, San Sicario di Cesana, venue of the Olympic luge, bobsleigh-, and skeleton track, and Sestriere. Another stamp shows Turin´s mascots Neve and Gliz.

The first series, which was published in March 2004, included motifs of the cities Turin, Bardonecchia, Pragelato and Sauze D´Oulx. 3,500,000 units of each stamp will be printed and can be purchased at all Italian post offices. The values of the stamps range from 0.23 Euros to 0.62 Euros.
