The Junior World Cup in natural track luge saw its third winner in as many races this season. Lotte Mulser (ITA) celebrated her first victory on Sunday in Umhausen (AUT).

Umhausen (FIL/12.01.2025) With a clean sweep for Italy, the Junior World Cup concluded on the notorious "Grantau" track. Lotte Mulser claimed victory with a total time of 2:29.59 minutes, narrowly beating Jenny Castiglioni (ITA) by just 0.10 seconds. Tina Stuffer (ITA), the winner in Passeier, took third place (+0.97 seconds), while Nina Castiglioni (ITA), the winner of the season opener in Winterleiten (AUT), finished fourth (+2.02 seconds). For Mulser it is the first victory in the Junior World Cup.
The battle for the overall standings in the women's singles remains highly competitive. Heading into the final race in Laas/Lasa (ITA), Mulser leads with 255 points, ahead of Jenny Castiglioni (240), Stuffer (225), and Nina Castiglioni (220).

Decisive Moment in Men's Singles

In the men's singles, Alex Oberhofer (ITA) solidified his dominance with his third victory in as many races. On the 955-metre track, he set the fastest time in both runs, finishing with a total time of 2:25.83 minutes and leaving his competitors far behind. Vid Kralj (SLO) secured second place with a gap of 1.39 seconds, while Anton Gruber Genetti (+1.56 seconds) took third. This result has essentially decided the overall standings, with Oberhofer leading on a perfect 300 points, ahead of Vid Kralj (230) and Ziga Kralj (215). A third-place finish in the final race would suffice for Oberhofer to secure the overall victory.

In the doubles, Italy's Anton Gruber Genetti/Jakob Gruber Genetti celebrated their second win of the season on Saturday, finishing ahead of Poland's Konrad Plonka/Nikolas Dawidowski and Wojciech Kwiecinski/Patryk Hudy. Gruber Genetti/Gruber Genetti lead the overall standings with 285 points, followed by Kwiecinski/Hudy (225) and Plonka/Dawidowski (220).

The final of the 2024/2025 Junior World Cup will take place on 1–2 February in Laas/Lasa (ITA), with the Junior European Championships to follow on 15–16 February in Latsch/Laces (ITA).
