Sochi (pps) The U.S. doubles team of Christian Niccum-Jayson Terdimann will make their comeback at the final of the Viessmann Luge World Cup season in Sochi, Russia. Having just recovered from a back injury, 35-year old veteran Niccum tore his Achilles tendon during the rehabilitation process. This is the reason why the doubles team had to postpone their comeback to the World Cup circuit. Last season, Niccum-Terdiman were seventh in the overall Viessmann Luge World Cup rankings. At the 2010 Olympic Games, Niccum claimed a sixth place together with his then partner Dan Joye.
