With the 38th Junior European Championships in Natural Track Luge taking place in Latsch/Laces (ITA), the season is coming to an end for the young lugers. The four medal events are scheduled on February 14th and 15th 2025 on the Gumpfrei track.

Latsch/Laces (FIL/12.02.2025) – The season’s highlight still awaits the young lugers aged 15-20. The doubles competition will take place on Friday evening (8 pm), while on Saturday from 5 pm, the singles races and the team event will be on the programme. New European champions will be crowned in all events, as the defending champions are not competing this year.
In the men's singles, Fabian Brunner (ITA) claimed the junior European title in Mariazell in 2023. His teammate Alex Oberhofer (ITA), who won three out of four races in the Junior World Cup, enters the competition as the top favourite for the medals. The second season winner is Michael Noah Tinzl (ITA), while brothers Vid and Ziga Kralj (SLO) made it onto the podium in three of four Junior World Cup events.
In the women's singles, a successor to Sarah Schiller (GER) is being sought. Among the medal contenders are the Italian Lotte Mulser (overall winner of the Junior World Cup) and the three season winners Tina Stuffer and the Castiglioni sisters, Jenny and Nina.
In the doubles competition, season winners Gabriel Halcin/Samuel Halcin (SVK) and the overall Junior World Cup winners Anton Gruber Genetti/Jakob Gruber Genetti (ITA) are the favourites. The 2023 team event was won by Italy (Castiglioni/Brunner), ahead of Austria (Naomi Thöni/Sebastian Feldhammer) and Slovenia (Meta Mekina/Ziga Kralj).
