PyeongChang (RWH) Luge is a clean sport. As in previous years, there were no doping cases in the sport governed by the International Luge Federation (FIL) last season, information which is confirmed in a report from the Medical Commission presented at the 63rd FIL Congress in PyeongChang, Korea. However, Dr. Jörg Ellermeyer from Germany, who heads the Commission, stated there were six so-called filing failures, for all of which a caution had been issued. A filing failure is declared if erroneous or incomplete data is submitted. Dr. Ellermeyer further informed the Congress that there had been no missed tests in the post-Olympic season.
