No World Cup at Olang

Berchtesgaden (PMA) - Second FIL Luge World Cup on Natural Track from 8th - 10th January will not be hosted at Olang in Italy. The Local Organizing Committee informed the International Luge Federation (FIL) on Friday, that they decided to pass back the World Cup to the Italian Federation (FISI). FISI can now nominate an alternative host for the races. 

"It is our explicit goal, that there will be a new host for the event. We don't want to cancel the race, nor do we want it added to any of the already existing World Cup cities", states Chris Karl, director of sports of the Natural Track.
