Milan (RWH) The Italian line-up will be much the same this winter as it was last year: the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) based in Milan has announced that it will be sending the same lugers into the 2015/2016 season with the exception of David Mair, who has ended his career. The team includes World Championship bronze medallists Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber, who will be competing in their 17th World Cup winter. Also representing Italy in the doubles are Ludwig Rieder–Patrick Rastner and Florian Gruber–Simon Kainzwalder. Dominik Fischnaller, Kevin Fischnaller, Emanuel Rieder and youngster Theo Gruber will be racing in the men’s singles, and the Italian women’s team comprises Sandra Robatscher and Andrea Vötter.
