Oberhof (RWH) Olympic Champion Germany remains to be beaten in the Viessmann Team Relay presented by BMW this post-Olympic winter. After their successes in Innsbruck-Igls and Königssee, the German quartet comprising Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and doubles duo Tobias Wendl–Tobias Arlt have won the third relay in Oberhof. The US team of Erin Hamlin, Chris Mazdzer and Matthew Mortensen–Jayson Terdiman came second on the demanding artificial track in the Thuringian Forest. Third place went to the Russians Tatiana Ivanova, Semen Pavlichenko and doubles team Alexandr Denisyev–VIadislav Antonov. Defending titleholder Germany continues to head the overall rankings with 300 points followed by the USA with 240 points and Canada with 190 points.
