Park City (pps) At the upcoming Viessmann Luge World Cup event in Park City in the US state of Utah, Olympic champion Tatjana Huefner might well celebrate a special jubilee. On the 2002 Olympic track the two-time World champion could earn the 25th individual victory of her career. It was at the end of November 2005 in Altenberg that the 27-year old took the highest spot on the podium for the first time. Last weekend in Calgary, Canada, the three-time overall Viessmann Luge World Cup winner achieved her 24th career victory. Two-time Olympic champion (2002 and 2006) Sylke Otto of Germany is still the record winner in the women’s singles –she achieved this feat, however, within the space of 14 years (1992- 2006). Silke Kraushaar-Pielach, Germany, holds second position on this ranking with a total of 36 individual victories. It took the 1998 Olympic champion eleven years (1997-2008) to make this collection.
