Sigulda (pps) Germany’s 2002 Olympic champion Sylke Otto will only be a spectator at the second race of the Suzuki Challenge Cup at Sigulda, Latvia (November 19, 13.00 hrs Local time Sigulda/12.00 hrs CET).
As this winter the eligibility for the Suzuki Challenge Cup depends on the results of the previous World Cup event, Anke Wischnewski and Silke Kraushaar qualified for Germany. However, according to the German trials, Wischnewski has not been entered for Sigulda. She will be replaced by Barbara Niedernhuber as the third-best German athlete.
