Olympic Champions win German Titles

Königssee (RWH) The 2014 Olympic Champions have won the national Championships of Germany in Luge. Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and Tobias Wendl-Tobias Arlt secured the titles in Königssee on the oldest artificial track of the world. One Month later, from January 29 – 31, Königssee will host the 46th World Championships of the International Luge Federation (FIL).

Natalie Geisenberger won in front of 2010 Olympic Champion Tatjana Hüfner and Lisa Völker. Loch sent Ralf Palik and Johannes Ludwig to second and third place. Second place in doubles race went to Toni Eggert-Sascha Benecken. The title in the team relay went to Bavaria with the line-up with Geisenberger, Loch and Wendl-Arlt followed by Thuringia (Hüfner, Palik, Eggert-Benecken).
