Winterberg (pps) As in Sigulda, US luger Courtney Zablocki, 4th placed at the 2006 Olympic Games, will again replace World junior champion Kate Hansen at the Viessmann Luge World Cup stop in Winterberg. 16-year old Hansen crashed during the training week on the Olympic track in Whistler, Canada, and then again at the World Junior Cup in Cesana, Italy, suffering a back injury. She therefore returned home, just to be on the safe side. Zablocki celebrated her comeback in the Viessmann Luge World Cup after more than a one year-long break, finishing on 19th position on the demanding track in Latvia. Last season, the 27-year-old suffered numerous setbacks due to injuries.
