Olympic Torch Relay for Lausanne 2020 starts on 17th September

Lausanne (RWH) With the traditional igniting of the Olympic Flame in ancient Olympia in Greece, the Torch Relay for the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Lausanne 2020 starts on 17 September. On this day, the YOG Organizing Committee will unveil the final design of the torch. The flame then travels to Switzerland for a tour around all 26 cantons of the country as well as the venues in France. At the opening ceremony of the Youth Winter Games on January 9, 2020, the Olympic Flame will be lit with the last torch.
