Olympic Torch relay starts 100-day-journey to PyeongChang

Seoul (RWH) The Olympic flame has arrived in host country Korea and started the 100 days long journey to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang on February 9, 2018. As the Organising Committee POCOG reported, the Olympic Torch Relay began at 1 pm local time on Incheon Bridge near the capital Seoul.The torch will travel over 2,018 km to 17 metropolitan cities and provinces nationwide.

There will be a total of 7,500 torchbearers, including national stars from sports, TV and film business. The final torchbearer, who will light the Olympic cauldron, will traditionally only be revealed on February 9 during the Opening Ceremony in the PyeongChang Olympic Stadium.
