ORIS Meeting: Olympic Results and Information Service planned for Milan Cortina 2026

Montreux (FIL/05 May 2023) A three-day meeting of the luge working group of the Olympic Results and Information Service (ORIS) took place in the traditional Swiss city of Montreux from May 2 to 4, 2023.

The meeting was chaired by Nicolas Hurel, IOC Head of Games Results of ORIS. The International Luge Federation (FIL) was represented by Vice President Sport Claire DelNegro, Event Director for the Olympic Winter Games Milan Cortina 2026 Maria Luise Rainer, Sport Director Matthias Böhmer and Technical Director Andris Sics. 

Representatives of the Milan Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee and members of the IOC ORIS team, ATOS and Omega were also present.

The working group reviewed the lessons learned from the Beijing 2022 implementation and discussed and reviewed the ORIS document containing the technical requirements for the luge competitions at Milan Cortina 2026.
