Vatra Dornei (PMA) - Third Luge World Cup on Natural Track was hosted in the Romanian Carpathians. For the fourth time the International Luge Federation (FIL) and it’s athletes were visiting Vatra Dornei, which will organize the 21st FIL Luge World Championships on Natural Track in 2017.  Patrick Pigneter is the winner of the men’s competition. He scores his third season win in Romania and is leading the Overall World Cup after three races with maximum points.

After the qualification run he had only 2 hundredths advantage on his team mate Alex Gruber. Pigneter remained unperturbed and scored the fastest time at the competition run in 0:46.28.
