Plenty of international training weeks ahead of the Olympic winter

Berchtesgaden (RWH) The International Luge Federation (FIL) has scheduled a large number of international training weeks (ITW) for the forthcoming Olympic winter. Two artificial ice tracks will be available for training sessions right at the start of the season on 16 October 2017. The tracks in Königssee and Oberhof (both GER) will be open for training until 21 October. The artificial ice track in Altenberg, Germany, will then be available for all interested national associations from 23 - 28 October 2017. There will be further training opportunities in Königssee from 30 October to 4 November 2017.
The international training week on the future Olympic track in PyeongChang (KOR) is scheduled for 2 to 11 November 2017. This will be the final opportunity to train on the artificial track before the medals in the women’s, men’s, doubles and team relay are awarded at the Winter Games from 9 - 25 February 2018. At the same time as the training in PyeongChang, the Olympic track in Innsbruck (AUT) will host training sessions between 2 and 11 November ahead of the Viessmann World Cup season opener on 18/19 November.
