Fourth victory in a row for Evelin Lanthaler (ITA) on Sunday at the last day of the Luge World Cup on Natural Track in Moscow. Lanthaler collected in Moscow the maximum of 200 points and is the undisputed leader in the World Cup standing.

European champion Evelin Lanthaler is on fire. 24 hours after her victory on the "Sparrow Hills-Track" on Saturday Lanthaler also won on Sunday. Ekaterina Lavrenteva (RUS) was leading after the first run, but with a flawless performance in the second run Lanthaler took her fourth win of the season, ahead of Lavrenteva and Tina Unterberger (AUT). "Before the first run in the morning I was nervous. In the second run I focussed to do my job the best way and everything turned out very well“, the World Cup leader analyzed. The defending champion still does not look at the standing in the World Cup: "Of course four victories are a great performance, but the season is still long. It´s easy to make mistakes and at the final in Umhausen we will know more“, said Lanthaler. With 400 points Evelin Lanthaler is leading the World Cup standing, her team-mate Greta Pinggera (ITA) follows with 295 points in second place, Ekaterina Lavrenteva (RUS) is third with 280 points.

For Pigneter it the first podium of this season. Saturday's winner Thomas Kammerlander (AUT) finished third. "The first run today was really great. Today I performed well in both runs on this challenging track“, said Alex Gruber, who also took the lead in the World Cup ranking with his second win of the season. "The victory today was extremely important for me. Now I'm in the slight advantage, but Thomas (Kammerlander) is in great shape, everything can change very quickly“.

In the doubles Patrick Pigneter / Florian Clara (ITA) celebrated their second win of the season. After finishing third on Saturday, the World Cup leaders set the fastest time in both runs and won ahead of the Russians Aleksandr Egorov / Petr Popov and Saturday‘s winners Stanislav Kovshik / Ilia Tarasov.

For technical reasons the Jury had decided at short notice to replace the scheduled pursuit race by two competition runs.
