Back-to-back-racing at the FIL Luge Junior World Cup on a Natural Track. After the successful start in Winterleiten (AUT) at the end of the year, the first race in the new year in Jaufental (ITA) is just around the corner. For the first time, a FIL competition will be held in the new Wipptaler Luge Centre.

Construction works of the track in the Jaufental in the Ratschings began in 2017. The newly built track "Tonnerboden" with an average downward slope of 10.2% is 658 meters long, the start is at 1322 meters above sea level, the finish at 1256 meters.
“The preparations are going on and the track is in perfect conditions. We are ready for the competitions, ”says OC-President Manfred Siller, who is expecting 18 nations for the 2nd venue oft he FIL Luge Junior World Cup 2019/2020.
The program starts on Saturday, January 4th, with the training runs for single / female and doubles, followed by the doubles-race at 2 p.m.. On Sunday, January 5th, beginning from 9.30 a.m. the single-seater competitions are scheduled. The award ceremonies will be held at 1 p.m.
