Altenberg (pps) The Organizing Committee of the Viessmann Luge World Cup event in Altenberg invites the media to an opening press conference on Friday (December 7, 2012) at the "Rodelscheune" right next to the VIP area at the finish. Available for questions will be Harald Steyrer of Austria, Vice President of Finance within the International Luge Federation, Germany’s head coach Norbert Loch and Austria’s Markus Prock, who will act as Jury President. Having claimed a total of seven World Cup victories during his active career in Altenberg, Prock still is the record-winner on that track.
