Sochi (RWH) Stanislav Tyurin, Executive Director of the Russian Luge Federation (FSSR), has described the preliminary inspection by Marie Luise Rainer, Sports Director of the International Luge Federation (FIL), ahead of the Viessmann World Cup in winter 2015/2016 as “very productive”. Some five months before the February 2016 event, which is due to be held on the track which hosted the 2014 Olympics, representatives of the track operating company, the Russian Federation and the regional government of Krasnodar attended the meeting. A press release from the FSSR stated that a number of proposed improvements were discussed and agreed.
