PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games celebrate One-Year-To-Go on February 9, 2017

 PyeongChang (RWH) On February 9, 2017 it’s exactly one year to go to the Opening Ceremony of the XXIII. Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, Korea.  The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) celebrates this date with a ceremony that day in the Gangneun Hockey Center, including the presentation of the Olympic Torch and the Torch relay uniform.

The 2018 Olympic Winter Games kick-off on February 9, 2018. The Olympic Luge competitions are scheduled for Feb. 10-15, 2018. Venue is the new Alpensia Sliding center, part of the mountain cluster in PyeongChang.

The athletes of the International Luge Federation FIL will compete there for the first time from February 18-19, 2017 at the eighth event of Viessmann Luge World Cup and 5th event of Viessmann Team Relay World Cup presented by BMW, at the same time the Olympic test events.
