Calgary (pps) The canadian team convinced during the qualifying tor the 3rd Viessmann Luge World Cup on its hometrack in Calgary. Regan Lauscher won the women`s race followed by her teammate Madison Dupuis. The winner of the men`s race was Jeff Christie (CAN). In doubles, first place went to Marshall Savill/Winston Davis Preston (CAN).
Qualified for the women`s race on Saturday are Regan Lauscher (CAN), Madison Dupuis (CAN), Ashley Hayden (USA), Meaghan Simister (CAN), Alexandra Rodionova (USA), Monica Gorham (CAN), Anne Abernathy (ISV), Anahita Panjwani (NOR), Courtney Zablocki (USA), Julia Clukey (USA), Julia Anashkina (RUS) and Anna Maria Petrascu (ROM).
The final round for doubles on Saturday reached Marshall Savill/Winston Davis (CAN), Griffall/Daniel Joye (USA) Sam Edney/Lewis Gwyn,(CAN), Eugen Radu/Robert Taleanu (ROM) and Goro Hayashibe/Masaki Tshiko (JPN).
