Cesana-Pariol (pps) The start heights for the Junior World Championships to be held at the Olympic track in Cesana Pariol from January 26 to 28, 2007, have been reduced. This was decided by the technical commission and development/juth working group of the International Luge Federation (FIL).

The decision is a consequence of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin where, particularly in the women’s competition, several crashes had occurred on the demanding track, fortunately not resulting in any serious injuries.
