Romanian Federation steps in and takes over FIL Congress 2023 for sports friends from the Ukraine

Imst (FIL) During the meeting of the FIL Executive Board on September 23 and 24, 2022, in the Tyrolean winter sports resort Imst (AUT), it was decided to move the FIL Congress 2023 to Romania. The 71st FIL Congress will now take place in Bucharest on June 16 and 17, 2023.

The Romanian Federation made the offer to stand in for the sports colleagues from the Ukraine. Due to the current war in Ukraine and the difficult planning conditions and security situation, a postponement became necessary. Originally, at the 69th FIL Congress in Salzburg (AUT) in September 2021, the Ukrainian Lviv had been chosen as the Congress venue for 2023.
