Russia at the top of the medal table

Sigulda (RWH) At the 49th European Championships of the International Luge Federation (FIL) four National Federations have won at least one medal. At the top of the medal table was the Russian Federation, who collected a total of four medals, three gold and one bronze.

Second place went to Germany with five medals (1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze). Host Latvia earned one silver and one bronze medal. Italy caught one bronze medal with Sandra Robatscher in the women’s race.
