Koenigssee (pps) Koenigssee held and will further hold top position in the Viessmann Luge World Cup – the oldest artificially-iced track world-wide will host its 30th luge World Cup event on January 5-6. Contrary to other events the competitions in Koenigssee will be carried out in the middle of the week – on Epiphany, a holiday in Bavaria. The World Cup in Koenigssee will kick-off on January 5 with the women’s singles at 10:40 hrs, followed by the doubles’ at 13:00 hrs. On Thursday the men’s singles will be carried out at 09:45 hrs, the season’s third Viessmann Team Relay World Cup presented by Money Service Group (13:00 hrs) will then conclude the World Cup.
