Oberhof (pps) The artificially-iced track in Thuringia holds third position on the all-time rankings of World Cup venues, behind Koenigssee and Igls. Two weeks prior to the World Championships in Italy the 1354,5 metres long track will thus host its 23rd World Cup event, taking off with the doubles’ on January 15 at 10:20 hrs, followed by the men’s singles at 13:20 hrs. On Sunday, the winners will be determined in the women’s singles (10:00 hrs) and then, as a highlight, the season’s fourth Viessmann Team Relay World Cup presented by Money Service Group (13:00 hrs).
