Altenberg (pps) Austria’s Tobias Schiegl/Marcus Schiegl made the best promotion for the World Champions Ships on their home track at Igls in two weeks. The cousins won the Viessmann Luge World Cup at Altenberg, celebrated their first victory after four years and the 4th overall.
Schiegl/Schiegl won in a total time of one minute 25,880 seconds followed by Germany’s Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch (1:25,910) and Italy’s Gerhard Plankensteiner/Oswald Haselrieder (1:25,956).
