Quotes:
Sebastian Schmidt (GER)
„Last year we have been in the lead, too, but couldn`t finished first. This year will realized our first victory. So we are very happy. It was a long way from our debut three years ago on this track to this victory.”
Christian Oberstolz (ITA / WM-Dritter 2004)
„The track was very fast and difficult. We made in both runs the same mistake. But we were happy, not to crash. We would like to win in Lake Place three times in a row, but the Schmidt/Forker have been too fast.”
Gerhard Plankensteiner (ITA)
„This is a big surprise for us. Normally we are better on gliding tracks like Winterberg, Calgary or Salt Lake City. We have never expected such a good result in Lake Placid.”
