Lake Placid (pps) At the annual meeting of US Luge Association (USAL), Scott Clark (Salt Lake City, Utah) was elected to a two-year term as Vice-President, while Lin Hancock (River Forest, Ill.) was re-elected to another two-year term as Treasurer.
Clark, last winter one of the technical delegate of the international federation (FIL), served 10 years as the President of the Wasatch Luge Club (Park City, Utah) before recently stepping down to concentrate his efforts on the candidacy for the position. Most recently, the 46-year-old was the race director of last February’s 38th World Luge Championships, held in Park City. Hancock, 50-years-old, was an alternate to the 1984 U.S. Olympic doubles luge team and is looking forward to his fifth term as Treasurer.
