1.76 million TV spectators saw victory of Felix Loch
Munich (pps) The first event of the new season in the Viessmann Luge World Cup series generated excellent TV ratings for Germany’s public TV station ARD. About 1.76 million spectators followed the decision in the men’s singles and the eventual success of Olympic champion Felix Loch of Germany on Sunday.
This is why the broadcast achieved a tenth place on Sunday’s in-house ARD ranking and it turned out to be the discipline with the highest TV ratings on Sunday afternoon’s ARD sport show – even ahead of the World Cup events of the ski jumpers, the speed skaters as well as in Alpine Skiing.
