Russia`s Albert Demtschenko, in the lead after the first run, made a mistake in the second run und finished only 17th. New World Cup leader is now Austria`s Markus Kleinheinz with 216 Punkten followed by Demtschenko (209) and Zöggeler (195). David Möller (GER/ World Champion 2004) „The World-Champion-Title is very difficult to carry. On the track in Lake Placid it is important to bring down two solid runs, without any mistake nobody is able to finish this track. My good start was an advantage for me. My goal was to show the german flag in Lake Placid, after the mistake of Georg.” Tony Benshoof (USA) „I have had trouble all week long, especially in curves eleven and twelfe. I got it right today, especially in the second run. We had extra training on this track and that paid off.“ Armin Zöggeler (ITA / Olympic Champion 2002) „This track is very difficult. I`m very satisfied with third place. At the opening of the season I cought a cold, that`s the reason for the first results. The World Cup break last week was very good to recover. “
