Semen Pavlichenko with Track Record to Nationscup Victory

Lake Placid (RWH) Thanks to a new Track Record Semen Pavlichenko from Russia secured victory in Nationscup at Lake Placid. The former World Champions improved during the qualification race for the Viessmann Luge World Cup on Friday the old Track Record of Tucker West (52,002 seconds) to 50,970 seconds. Second and third place went to Taylor Morris (USA) and Inars Kivlenieks (LAT).
In doubles race Italy’s old hands Christian Oberstolz-Patrick Gruber captured the win in their 21st season of competing. Second and third place went to Jake Hyrns-Anthony Espinoza und Justin Krewson-Andrew Sherk. Women’s race was won by Andrea Vötter (ITA) ahead of Ulla Zirne (LAT) and Raluca Stramaturaru (ROU).
