Seven nations win at least one World Championship medal

Innsbruck (RWH) A total of seven nations have taken home at least one medal from the 47th World Championships of the International Luge Federation (FIL). The lion’s share of the silverware went to the German squad (4 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals). Host nation Austria finished second in the medals table (2–1–0). Third place went to the US team (1–2–0). The remaining medals were shared amongst the teams from Russia, Switzerland, Italy, and Canada.
