Winterberg (pps) Shiva Keshavan of India, who won gold at the Asian Championships for the second time in a row, will not compete in the upcoming 44th World Championships of the International Luge Federation (FIL) in Whistler, Canada, on February 1-2, 2013. The 31-year old, a four-time Olympian who reached his best result at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin when he earned a 25th-place finish, will be training in Europe instead. Keshavan intends to compete in the final of the Viessmann Luge World Cup series in Sochi, Russia.
