Lake Placid (pps) Germany’s Olympic champion Silke Kraushaar celebrated her third victory in the Olympic season at the Viessmann Luge World Cup at Lake Placid (USA). She won in a total time of one minute 31,642 seconds followed by Italy’s Anastasia Oberstolz-Antonova (1:31,923) and her team-mate Anke Wischnewski (1:32,006). Finishing four and five Samantha Retrosi (1:32,009) and Erin Hamlin (1:32,088) earned the qualification for the Olympics at Turin.
