Ahead of the Olympic première:
Munich (pps) Before the International Luge Federation (FIL) Team Relay makes its Olympic debut at the Winter Games (7 to 23. February 2014) in Sochi, Russia, six Team Relay Events are on the schedule of the Viessmann Luge World Cup series. This was decided by the FIL Executive Board at their spring meeting in Munich.
The events will take place in Igls (AUT), Winterberg (GER), Whistler (CAN), Park City (USA), Koenigssee and Altenberg (both GER). In addition to the six World Cup competitions there is also a Team Relay event at the 45th FIL European Luge Championships in Sigulda, Latvia.
