Oberhof (pps) Silke Kraushaar-Pielach of Germany, 1998 Olympic and 2004 World champion, is currently auctioning off her sled. Since Saturday (January 19, 2008) the Internet auction house Ebay accepts bids for this historic sled. Until 1995 this sled accompanied the German athlete who will call it quits at the end of this season. “It’s my favourite“, commented Silke Kraushaar-Pielach. Young luge talents will benefit from the proceeds.
